Triskelion Way

September 11, 2023

We wrapped up the four day, 37 mile pilgrimage across the Isle of Man today. It rained again today, although the rain was never heavy. We walked along the coast and then over a big hill into village of Maughold. This is where the Saint arrived and ran a mission in about 450 A.D.. He lived here 60 years. we had a presentation by the pastor of the church of England on the site, learned about Sainte Maughold and his legacy here.

We took the electric tram back to Ramsey, and a bus back here. We have dinner in the Thie dy Vea retreat center again tonight, and then tomorrow we all go our separate ways. Adele is going to Ireland for a week long tour.

Our leader has been Phil, the Co-founder of the pilgrimage and an excellent tour guide. This is on top of being a wonderful person. He welcomes all and cares for everyone.
